Data Fellows

The Data Fellows program is in concept phase to attract promising candidates with data science expertise to meet complex data requirements for NASA missions.

Data is one of the agency’s most valuable assets. We’re seeking the help of budding data scientists to develop innovative methods to access, manage, and interpret NASA's high value datasets.

The Data Fellows program aims to:

  • Recruit strong candidates to meet complex data requirements, and attract data science and engineering expertise for mission support
  • Leverage existing NASA partnerships with academia, non-profits, industry to create a competitive program
with criteria for leadership
and experience
  • Offer 6-12 month tours to focus on addressing critical data challenges.
