NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer is the home of the agency's open.data and open.gov efforts to spur innovation. The mission of OCIO: to increase the productivity of scientists, engineers, and mission support personnel by responsively and efficiently delivering reliable, innovative and secure IT services.
The Technology, Data, and Innovation Division is led by the Associate Chief Information Officer for Information, Data, & Technology. The division guides NASA's IT strategy and investment decisions, and identifies emerging IT Technologies to support NASA's missions. The Division serves as the advanced planning function of the Office of the CIO and tackles policy and mission support functions including, digital services, information architecture, Center Chief Technology Officer and Enterprise Architects, technology infusion, technology procurement, and future IT workforce development.
